This Dance + Sound Bath Experience takes place at Dance Freedom in Boston, MA. We’ve combined Active + Passive Meditation together to bring both Dancing (active) and Sound (passive) in this Meditation experience to move the body and rest the mind. We believe that freestyle dance and music combined together are one of the most powerful vehicles for the expression of joy and complete mindfulness.
During this experience, we are leaving behind the cultural expectation of social dancing being part of courting behavior. A dance is just a dance, free yourself from expectations, enjoy dancing alone, with a partner, or in a group. There is no right or wrong way to move. Just move and simply be present in your body.
Dance Freedom has been continuously running for 50 years in a drug, alcohol, and shoe-free environment. Come join us!
